Angioplasty

There's a new option out there for heart patients about to go through angioplasty.
It's an anti-clotting drug called absiximab and it cuts down the risk of death for angioplasty patients by 19-percent in the first year.
For the very sickest patient.. it could be a lifesaver cutting their death rate by 60-percent.
There is one problem.. a 13-hundred 50-dollar price tag makes it too costly for most low risk patients.
Anything to do with the heart can be scary. The same goes for the brain.
Brain cancer can seem like a death sentence but as Healthy Living's Denise Dador reports advances in a treatment called radio surgery is giving even terminally ill cancer patients new hope.
