"Healthy Living" with Denise Dador appears weekdays on WXYZ-TV Action News at 5pm.

Each night viewers receive health tips about subjects such as medicine, nutrition, and exercise, plus information about new trends that can enhance the quality of life. Topics can range from simple secrets of fat free cooking, to the practical application of a medical breakthrough. These segments attempt to make our viewers feel better by taking more control over their own health.

"Healthy Living" Reporter Denise Dador joined WXYZ-TV/Channel 7 in November,1993. She delivers regular Healthy Living reports on Action News and anchors the weekend newscasts.

Dador joined WXYZ-TV from KMPH-TV in Fresno, California, where she co-anchored the 10pm weeknight newscast. During her three years there, she also worked as South Valley bureau chief and general assignment reporter.

Previously, Dador worked as a reporter for KTSF-TV in San Francisco and held positions at California stations KTVU-TV in Oakland, KFTV-TV in Santa Rosa, KGO-TV in San Francisco and Bay City News Service in San Francisco.

Dador graduated from Mills College in Oakland, California with a bachelor's degree in communications/journalism.

In her spare time, Dador enjoys bike riding, shopping, power walking and jogging with her puppy "Terrific".
